Jurassic Park grew from living with the practical realities of Las Terrenas: heat, humidity, noise, power, communications, privacy and the materials that make a home work. The Origin Site became the place where those choices were tested in daily life.

The ambition grew with the experience. Better homes, a way to build in stages and a future community designed as a whole all come from that first chapter.

What the experience changed

Three lessons you can follow into the site.

Comfort belongs in the constructionLook beyond the finishes.

The newer homes place more emphasis on insulation, UPVC double glazing and a better-sealed envelope. The goal is to respond to the climate through the building itself, alongside the equipment used inside it.

The site’s earlier structures were not all built this way. Showing that evolution is part of being honest about the work: the Model Villa and compact homes carry forward lessons from what came before.

Explore the construction generations
A home is part of a placeRoads, water and privacy shape daily life too.

Building on the Origin Site meant working with more than individual house designs. Access, utilities, landscape and the way the different spaces relate to each other form part of the practical knowledge behind Jurassic Park.

That experience explains the ambition of the future masterplan: consider the whole environment at the beginning, rather than resolve every relationship later. It is a future direction grounded in the first site.

A useful first stage can matter more than a grand promiseMake each stage worth living in.

The compact-home approach starts with a permanent home that performs its daily functions. Villa 456 explores phasing at a much larger scale, beginning with an existing structural base and a proposed first usable residential level.

Both ideas depend on planning the connection between stages. Their appeal is practical: understand what the first step creates and what needs to be resolved before the next. The individual project still needs design, engineering and an agreed scope.
